The first studio from the Flipper's Guitar, the album name itself is a reference to an Orange Juice song with the same name. Many of the tracks here come from an earlier incarnation of the band, Lollipop Sonic, from their album "Favourite Shirts". The whole of this album is sang in English, unlike their later releases. The clothes worn in the album art and by the band in general are very reminiscent of The Style Council, 80s soul project of Paul Weller and Mick Talbot who also drew influence from the 60's mod style and french fashion.
